Book Drive for TAP

Did you know that 61% of low-income families have NO books in their home? Literacy levels surge when there are at least 80 books in a home! Help us give our BNC TAP children more books! Our TAP program (Trinity After School Program) helps young elementary students from Bryant learn to read by providing tutoring and mentorship after school. We'd love to fill their homes with books to help them practice reading.

During the month of March, we are collecting gently used picture books and beginning chapter books. Your family can bring them to church and place them on the bookshelves in the Birch Room, right off the Fellowship Hall.  We can also take donations of money so we can wisely buy books to share. Feel free to bring in any book, even if you aren't sure - we'll help it find a good home no matter what. Thank you for helping us get more books into the homes of our neighborhood children. If you would like to donate to the drive, click here, select “Other” and put “TAP Book Drive” in the note. Questions?  Contact Nikki Davidson or Jana Fullerton
